Due to security reasons, all lost and found property is handled by airport security personnel. If you happen to lose an item via the airport you should firstly contact the relevant airline you are/were travelling with.

Lost and found property that is seized at the airport will be retained for three months. After this period it will be disposed of or sold at auction.

It is strongly recommended that all travellers take out the appropriate travel insurance to cover any such losses that can occur as part of their journey.
